okay, im not a hip hop producer or anything, but i have recorded a couple of rappers --

i would say that the bass is kickin in this, and i really like the clap sound -- the beat is pretty good.

however it seems that the vocals are laying back too low in the mix. and dont have enough "presence" raise volume a bit, perhaps some more eq, compression -

also, some instruments that can add to the vibe of the song are also too laid back. For instance, the violins in the chorus, it would be cool if they were more present, without interfering with the vocals, perhaps by hard panning them out, and putting a slight delay on one of em, and leaving the vocals more centered.
