Text:

Verses Six Six (Offertory)

Godliness with contentment is great gain.
Knowing this, that our former person was crucified with him,
that the body of sin may be made useless,
so that we would no longer be in bondage to sin.
For I desire mercy, and not sacrifice; I desire knowledge of God more than holocausts.
By pureness, by knowledge, by patience, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned,
Share every good thing you have with anyone who teaches you what God has said.
And when you pray, go into your room, close the door,
and pray to your Father who is in secret.
And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

That was actually a really neat piece! How are you creating this?

Why, thank you :!:

I wrote the piece the old-fashioned way: slaved over the text for a half a decade, conceptualized and rationalized the gists of the piece(s) for a couple of years, and finally banged it out on the piano a few measures at a time over the course of several months when it was finally quiet.

As far as the render goes, my Tutorial gives the short course.

:) very interesting piece. i remember enjoying "the hymnal" a while ago when you posted that here. i'll need to take some time to go through all your links and stuff, but initially there seems to be much food for thought in what you do, and the way you write things up on your site furthers the appeal. the myriad software is new to me, thanks for making me aware of it.

quite beautiful, thanks for sharing

Wildchurch?

I didn't know you'd changed your sign-on here. I've been rather out-of-touch-like. Good to hear from you - you must tell me more about Japan.

I'll have to get caught up on your stuff, too. Seems you've been busy.

And thanks for your (as usual) glowing comments.
