It's been a while since I put up anything, so;
The Morning After
Reaktor
FM8
Massive
TERA
various vocal samples and drum loops
It's quick and sloppy, just like me
Enjoy

I like this. that little riff that goes throughout, I love stuff like that..and your lead work reminds me of a tune from joe's garage, where joe is trying to make love to the telefunken u-47.

I agree with Bluedad about the zappa/porn-rock reference.
Very classy.

Ah, comments
The lead's TERA- you can do some killer guitarish stuff with it
Thanks for listening

What original, CJ? You CAN'T be speaking about that cheesy '70's era tune, can you?runagate wrote:I still like the original
Ostinato parts are great, Gary. Yeah, I was trying for that porn groove type thing; in fact, I almost used that for my ID3 tag, but polka won out as usualbluedad wrote:I like this. that little riff that goes throughout, I love stuff like that..and your lead work reminds me of a tune from joe's garage, where joe is trying to make love to the telefunken u-47.

Future Funk was done completely live in KORE, while this one was done with KORE in Live. Are you more confused yet? Good

Nah, I didn't think they were versions of one another, as I recall from last time bitching that it wasn't a polka but that it kicked ass anyways it's just some weird thing floating through your mind that we can't comprehend.
Hmm, I might DL a p2p thing today to steal my first song... I just remembered, on vinyl, a local (that's Minnesota) album called Trip Through Hell that I haven't thought about looking for since before the advent of the www but that might exist somewhere in the warez-o-sphere. Funny, I don't know a thing about legal or illegal music downloads as I just don't like enough pop music to have any interest hehehe.
I'd love to play that album for you, though, ew. It's totally wrongheaded and epic.

Actually, I stole the idea from Korn, of all bands . I'm not a big Korn fan by any stretch, but I own one Korn CD, and all the tracks are tagged as polka. I liked the idea...runagate wrote:Nah, I didn't think they were versions of one another, as I recall from last time bitching that it wasn't a polka but that it kicked ass anyways it's just some weird thing floating through your mind that we can't comprehend.
I resemble that remark myself...Funny, I don't know a thing about legal or illegal music downloads as I just don't like enough pop music to have any interest hehehe.
Sounds right down my alley, thenI'd love to play that album for you, though, ew. It's totally wrongheaded and epic.

Nice bass. I like the stutter (compression effect?) of the breath sample. Very clean overall. Really like that high lead sound that pops in and out(1 instance around 3:00), what's the source?
Thanks for sharing.

Not compression- Live's grain delay. It's a nice effect to use every once in a while.
Anything that sounds like a lead is TERA going through KORE's beat delay. It's a patch using FM, with the modwheel fading between the two carriers- one's tuned up a fifth from the other.
Thanks for listening

lurv the track ...
the mix , not so much ...

I thought it was a little bass heavy myself- it's one of the few times I've contemplated EQing a track to fix the original performance. But, it was late, and I wanted to go to bed and I'm lazy...
Look at it this way- now you've got an excuse to reputty or recaulk your windows before winter really sets in. You should be thanking me
Thanks as always for listening

So tell me of this KORE thingie that you use so masterfully.
I mean, I know what the press release says, but what is it really?
