Is there a consensus now on how the process will work and if so, would anyone be so kind as to describe it again?
I just don't have the will to go read all the posts, not after that 'a' thread...

I think I have a solution, based on some of the comments here.
There will probably be some changes to the original rules posting.
Most notably (and very loose terminology here)
1) Composition length will probably be brought back down to 2 minutes
2) People can be in as many comps as they wish
3) One team CANNOT submit multiple entries
3) Noobs and outsiders will be allowed
4) Teams will be developed by YOU people.
5) Teams will be a minimum of 2 people
I'm thinking that in the month of Novemeber, we run a regular contest, bussiness as usual. But in addition, I'll post a thread for the December contest. That thread will serve 2 purposes. First it will state the contest theme and rules. Secondly, it will serve as a means for people to communicate and develope thier teams. Compositions WILL NOT be posted to this thread
In December, I'll open a thread for contest submissions.
Doing it this way has some benefits.
1) You people will be able to best determine who you want to work with. Even though there many people that had indicated a random picking, I think that would work against us in some cases.
2) Allowing people to be in multiple entries provides a safegaurd if a collaboration goes bad.
3) Each contestant will have a little more control on thier own destiny
4) Ample time is provided to overcome logistical issues, and complete one comp.
This is where my mind is at now. Could Change
Any thoughts?

Yeah I do remember but you got the last one of those, I was just too late ! Apparantly they are not making any more copies of it since they don't want the sound of the blxcrrt go too thin by spreading it over too many VSTi's.mellotronaut wrote:Have you got some blxcrrt, finally? The group-buy, you remember?
