nice.
i like your voice. it's got a nice smoky resonance, good for melancholia. i sense a holding back, though ... as if you are not 100% comfortable and confident singing. perhaps a bit too concerned with correctness at the expense of feel? i think you should loosen up and wail; your voice is good enough to make it work.
the song is compelling, words and melody and accompaniment. and you put a good deal of effort into mix subtle details, most of which work nicely. a couple of things that don't work so well for me: the multivoice chorus is too heavy, overstated, attention diverting; the piano layer is a bit too facile and predictable. love the last 45 seconds. what about dropping out to this sound and solo voice in the middle of the piece for a verse?
