Hello, my Colleagues,
I posted this a couple of days ago on the groupblog site me and some minions maintain.
SteamRoller Blues
I thought I might as well encourage further public embarrassment by posting it here, too. If you're a blues freak you might get off to it. If not, just pass on by.
It's some of the swampiest, nastiest live blues my band ever played, I think.
It's from a gig in Austin in 1992, and the tape was incredibly messed up. I did my best at restoration, mostly processing in Reaper and Goldwave, with some Voxengo and TLs plugins to punch it up. The burbling during the voice intro is mostly the remnants of crowd noise that I couldn't get rid of, but that goes away when the song kicks in.
Link to the blog entrry is here. Feel free to comment at KVR or EatourBrains if you want to.
...Oh, what the hell. Here's Texas Flood, and the related blog post, too, from the same gig....
I hope it's not all too painful to deal with....
Take care,
GreyLion

Not painful at all. Quite cool.
