Just thought I'd cross-post this little track I mentioned in the instruments forum the other day. A quick track made using the excellent Howard Scarr Zebra 2 sound set provided free by Urs. Quite mellow but possibly rhythmically stimulating...
I checked out Howard's presets yesterday and was hit with a little inspiration...
Aside from the percussion, this is all just Howard's Zebra 2 patches:
Random Symmetry
128 bit .mp3
4.6 mb
5:01 mins
Thanks again to Urs for the gift, this is an excellent set of sounds!

Another one to add to the expanding polyslax playlist.
Relaxing, minimal flow - cool.

bobsled/mayan/diverdee - thank you for your ears and your comments!
Yeah, something like that... Honestly, I haven't the foggiest - there are 9 notes in the main pattern. It's been 31 years since I had any theory. Although I can still read, I rely almost entirely on intuition and accidents.mayan wrote:something like 11/4?

The modulation on that brass and lead sound are really cool. Thanks for sharing.
