That beat is complex and inventive for being so minimalist. Love it. It must be cold where you are.

Thank you! Yeah, it's a little cool here, nothing like what we'd normally have. For me to be BBQing on January 6th, as I was, with no snow on the ground is just bizarre. You, otoh, must know what snow is all about?!Jazzyspoon wrote:That beat is complex and inventive for being so minimalist. Love it. It must be cold where you are.

we'll have a high of 6 on Saturday. Still have 3 feet of snow and ice on the ground and some more coming. But i might Barbecue some ribs anyways.

yet another experience poly, man you must have a vault of harddrives the way your exporting these out,
I know what you mean about this weather, it is getting strange, gosh I was thinking of heading up to the cottage, although it turned nasty yesterday,
its screwing up my usual winter music directions, just kinda random now...
anyway, this track has some madness but some cool spaces

Hey man...a pleasure as always! enveloped me...brought me in. I really like the beats and the piano part was very cool as well.
As for George Bush's weather? f**k him. I ain't participating. The warmer it gets, the less I want to go outside.

Gee, another relaxing piece. The glitchy percussion and contemplative pads make an interesting and unusual combo. But rather effective.
Why did you place the percussion in the foreground and the rest in the back?

I really like this. This is very chill. I like the glitchy percussion as well, and the pads just took you places. I also think that the percussion should sit in the back of mix, and the pads, etc should have more dominance. Overall Good Stuff!

Thanks for the listen and comments YBaCuO and silenthill2006!
Hmmm... hadn't really thought about moving the percs into the background. I do have another mix made after the one I posted, but I think the level changes are minor and other than that it adds 4 tracks of samples. Anyhow, food for thought, thanks for the suggestion.

A quick remix then. Brought the drum levels down and sprinkled with some additional atmospheric bits:polyslax wrote:Thanks for the listen and comments YBaCuO and silenthill2006!
