Metal..i need some tips :D

Hi.

Here is something i am recording and mixing. Im composing yet so here is so idea what im doing right now. It will be recorded again because there is some time errors and a few more things.

I want a fat sound like that but i dont want it mud. I've cut some freqs at 250Hz.
On my head i listen to it like a over-compressed sound.

But of course cannot be like that. So i need some tips. Thanks

Love those prog metal rhythm guitars. Sounds decently mixed for the genre. Vocals could make or break this in my opinion. Nicely done.
