It's a splendid poem from Victor Hugo.
I recite on my music (classical guitars)
So beautiful poem.
"Demain dès l'aube" / "Tomorrow at Dawn"
A father goes on his daughter's tomb...

Demain, dès l'aube... Victor Hugo
Tomorrow at Dawn
Translated by: Henry Carrington
Tomorrow morn, what time the fields grow white,
I shall set off; I know you look for me,
Across the forest's gloom, the mountain height:
I can no longer dwell away from thee.
I'll walk with eyes upon my thoughts intent,
Hearing no outer noise, seeing no sight;
Alone, unknown, hands clasped, and earthward bent,
Sad, and the day for me shall be as night.
On evening's golden hues I shall not gaze,
Nor on the vessels that to Harfleur come;
But my quest o'er, upon thy grave shall place
A wreath of holly green, and heather bloom.

beautifully realised daniel, i wish i could capture such things in words as hugo does. the voice so close is just right, we can feel the soul torn - separated from the outside world: "Je marcherai les yeux fixés sur mes pensées"
perfect

nice guitars,
nice voice,
sad and beautifull piece.
very good works with lyrics and atmosphere : i like very much when music stop and start again after "sur ta tombe"...
i really like when you are "speaking" on your music, it's very deep, lots of feelings in your voice!
congrats!

wow, something different.
really felling it. love the way you've mixed it.
The muddy foot steps were a great touch.
well done!
