Got bored with doing taxes so I fired up this little drum piece that was almost completed and polished it off. It's part of my Mythos series which I've mentioned before. This one relies on the low end to establish the pocket in lots of spots while the upper voices cascade over it.

These drums are very cool and pleasant. Sounds like you had fun making this track (or at least it would be fun for me) I'll be checking you mythos project out asap.

just for fun i took satyr and created a set of loopable excerpts from it:

i didn't bother paying attention to the bpm or number of beats per bar, but they all loop seamlessly and make sense (to me anyway) as groove components.
