Nice, I like it as it is. Personal preference I woulda gone for a more distorted bass sound, but even so it's nice as it is. Would be interested to hear how this sounds with some vocals.

I think it sounds cool. In rap/hip hop (but in many other genres too), it's the rapper who will make the song fly or die anyways. But you've laid a good foundation. I could imagine the bass drum to be fatter (or should that be phatter, haha), but that's not a must in my opinion. The snare is nice and snappy, which is a must, I think.
