Salut !

I am searching for the following song a singer (m/f) / musician who wants to be creative and add the vocals or remix the song completely !

It's a little song I recorded with a good friend to demonstrate the possibilties of minimal equipement (Laptop+AudioCard+Midi-Keyboard).
I think the result is quite good, if you keep in mind that he's not a pro and plays the guitar very rarely !
The structure of the song is very simple, but this can be changed !
I don't wanna give a subject or theme to keep the creative flow and add a pic of the cover ... perhaps this helps for inspiration !

The recording process can also be very flexible:
- record vocals, mix the song, post it
- record vocals and post just the vocals by mail or host
- etc.

The song will be a birthday present and I hope for many creativity

Is there any interest to sing in this style ? It doesn't has to be professional ... what counts is the enthusiasm and the "balls" to rock !

Just let flow your creativity and it doesn't has to be the klischée of hardrock-singing !

Hello drumity

Fwiw, I heard this guys song on the german Logicuser forum first and told him that perhaps on a forum as big as KVR he might find a few more people willing to collaborate (the Logicuser forum is comparatively small).
So come on folks, don't make my recommendation look stupid

I'll give it a listen this evening and see your style....I sing on my own tracks, and in various styles, and write my own lyrics as well...perhaps I'll give it a shot after I check it out.

If you play the guitar perhaps you can add a guitar solo .. it's possible to stretch the last chorus (8 bars) ... I add another 8 bars or 16 bars and you can widdle like hell !

I just checked out your track drumity...its pretty cool, actually...it kinda reminds me of the band Filter in some ways. I really like what the track was getting into at the end with what sounds like that chorused clean guitar...that part was really cool, but it seems like it stopped to soon, in my opinion. You could really develop that part some more, or perhaps make it go on a bit longer. I could probably sing over this song if you wanted....maybe some softer vocals during the verse, possibly alternating a few lines with the voice effected by a filter or telephone simulation in a few spots, and then kick it up a little and be more aggresive during the chorus, perhaps? The only thing is, due to my work schedule, the earliest I could lay down the tracks would be Friday morning.
