1. Barnadine_MarklefordIsWaiting
Now we know what inspired the Cult of Markleford - I had no idea he could do all that! Another great example of what Barnadine does best. Listened to it many times.
2. knockman-math_jazz_singer
With the lyrics, unique arrangements and that voice - is it creative eccentricity or eccentric creativity?
3. spookyrockstar_broken_GoCryEmoKid_version
Good, strong pads, percussion and bass against pizz strings and little stacatto synth things - Intense sound - good counterpoint in the strings. Great backdrop for heavy, emotional lyrics.
4. Aziraphal_SoRekli
Beautiful guitars - thunder not overdone - background sounds tasteful, also. The tremelo strings, background vocal, pipe organ and gong bring the last verse to a very satisfying conclusion.
5. petrudamsa_Celebrate
Sophisticated sound - effective use of the vocodor - I like the gliding pad at the end of the phrases in the main theme. Good recording.
6. nikp2000-matte_kudasi
Very nice guitar-scape - a pleasant, relaxing, pensive, bluesy mix of just about everything you can do with a clean guitar sound.
7. Ixox_MarklefordBleakNight
I really like the synth against the guitar, bass and voice. The tones all complement each other. Didn't hear the dissonance you promised at the end, but even without it, it's really good.
8. EmeraldTablet-neverletitgo
E-Tab always sets a mood right from the outset. Makes me want to see the movie.
9. napalmbob_ThankYou
A real mood piece - clicky percussion against blue/black night sky, tubular bells - great atmosphere.
10. echovoodoo_marklefordslament
As usual, impeccable taste in the sound selection - cool groove - good chord structure, tailored ending.
Others especially deserving of recognition:
0707-Max_el_Belga-Blond
Fantastic guitars! Loads of activity, but never overcrowded, it just keeps your attention jumping all over the place.
0707-Hovmod-Marklefords Radio
Love the vocal pads and the complex textures you put together here - nice backdrop for Prof. Hawkings.
0707_xander__Chronic_Baby
Great vocal! I liked the amalgam of a rhythm section - frantic guitar solo followed by smooth vocal and xylophone - and a downright nifty ending!
07_07_Beardedone_Mark-Le-Ford.mp3
Nice development of the theme - I'd like to try something like this someday, but I left off my classical studies when I got to the romantic period. So much music, so little time.

Though I could add nothing of measure to this month's contest, I enjoyed listening to the entries and discovering all the gems Markleford has created over the years.
Peace,
