But it's not a joke... it's based on a true story... it really happened and scarred a poor sensitive 15-year-old for life (probably, I'm guessing)core wrote: Dr. Apostrophe X - Fat Camp Lap Dance
Like: Funky bass and guitar
Dislike: Didn't like the joke, horns remind me of old adventure pc games

I can't get the Markleford contest song page to come up.
I need it to finish my voting choices.
Is anyone else having problems connecting to the Song list page?

So we have to emulate a band without doing a cover?Scoops wrote: I do know for sure, next month's theme WILL NOT allow covers! I think it's a little on the hard side this time too.
I thought I'd take a guess at it, but we'll find out soon enough anyway.
If I'm right, then that will be pretty hard indeed. I always strive for the opposite, so it would be a challenging contest indeed.

I was just about to post about this as well. The kvrmirror was not able to retrieve the song list. I had to download each song individually, which was a PITA and makes me realize how great the kvrmirror is.Col.G wrote:I can't get the Markleford contest song page to come up.

I guess only Markleford can answer/solve.
Some great stuff this month btw...

thanks to psy-t for collaborating this month, i'd like thank all the reviewers this month, i've been really pressed for time so reading your comments has made up for only being able to listen to all the tracks just a handful of times when they really deserve greater attention.

With Markleford in transit right now, I'm hoping he can get to it. But I wouldn't count on it.freeztar wrote:I was just about to post about this as well. Thanks to everyone for your insightful comments on my entry..I agree with your advisements, and have made changes in the presentation accordingly..
Thanks also to the kind folks who heard something in my song worth voting for..thats the part that compelled me to write it in the first place. I'm happy some of that could leak out too

No question, it's the JX-305. It's got a keyboard! Wif aftertouch! No floppy drive, but a 4MB smartmedia slot, and it can do realtime phrase sequencing. Plus it sounds wickedrad... more patterns and sounds.
