If this board is like many other music forums I may not get many comments, but enjoy none-the-less:

Clexia is a nod to acid.

More of a 4/4 techno banger.

I do like your drums sounds a lot.
There is some abrasive qualities in the first track I found hard to ingest. This track doesn't quite feel finished yet.
The second one is smoother and silkier.
These definitely feel like they are coming from someone with experience. They don't sound like 'prerecorded loops' which haunt this genre.
Welcome to KVR and looking forward to hearing more from you.

Thanks for the commentary and I'm glad you enjoyed them. Clexia is meant to be just that, more abrasive, in lending itself more to acid techno in the vein of older Plastikman/Speedy J type stuff. The second one I did spend much more time on mixing the levels, smoothing the mix, etc. But this was partly because I felt the feel of the track merited it more.Jazzyspoon wrote:I do like your drums sounds a lot.

Prerecorded loops is something I am trying to steer clear of. More to come.
