wow, not a lot of percussion in your work, so this feels slightly unique among your other posts. okay, nevermind, that drifted away. There's a spot around 3:55 that I really like and wish you would have done more with.
Can I buy some pills off of you? :)
Nice wierdness. And wierdness entertains and inspires me.

thanx ckat; there's a lot of odd stuff, site-in-progress, we'll see...

hmmm I am all about percussion [and 'lead guitar', which I am hoarding --}-

'bout to post a 'finer' mix of the sea chantey trip per se, loungy {longue-y?}-style
bongo fury
quite a bit of [lotta tuned-] percussions

stay toon'd

luney tunez
twisted dark drone [new]
ancient harp solo [*classical*]

the latter gets me fr one pt to another; the copland-y brass/wws, solid D maj of another part follows, so another hanging cadence...

there is 2b a subtle ambience surrounding the harp, which takes sum design

Hey ! That's me !
You can't always get what you waaaant...

NOTE: in the new ambient sec., balance was left-heavy; this was an anomaly, all metrics showed it might've sounded right-heavy, if anything
{no. the headphone cord is always on the left... yup}

mixing is strange sometimes. fresher link addresses this

I'm liking the harp utterly naked, in empty space like that...

sola

cruel or??

F.O.W.

I love the spaces between the sounds in the link labled flip flop.

The link you just posted is 6:30 of silence.

The flip flop track starts out kinda thin frequency wise, especially the percussion. When the deep drone comes in the whole sound stage widens and has a much more dimensional feel. It is however very biased to the right.

I'm loving your stuff more and more.

:!:
one day three audio files in a project just don't sound; import self-same audio files and replace, now magically are sounding

you are right justin, the percussion sounds very thin next to the glowing thing; I am trying to think of an ambience for that, and that might point to the ambience of 'cave', but it is a delicate matter

it's not a natural space, and is supposed to be a transitional space

the 'ambient' spaces here are supposed to be a little right heavy here, a little left heavy there, you notice the harp enters where a space has been more or less left open, but the flipflop link one is too much so

thank you as always for the comments

ed: replaced old w new

achtung

for the more academically/technically minded, there are three discrete 'atonal' or 12-tone canons in the Stallings-esque section {@ 3:35} - which appear to work - in this 28-second example of high *statistical* density.

Nice! I love what you call the "Stallings-esque section", absolutely Schizoid!

Post

here, with the dinky percussion sounding more in line with the other object; I want to gradually morph the quasimono space, from the skeletal clack to the shove into space
donno how yet

a growing number of links that has me slightly confused in how to see the development of this.

Either way; hearing the 6.38 version now -
This is GOOD!

Totally up my alley (and NTNS' alley too ;) )
