Hi All,

First time in posting anything in this part of the forums. Just finished a tune, the first one in over 12 months due to hectic lifestyle etc.

Anyway take a listen:-

And go easy on the comments.......only joking, anything constructive is welcome.

OK i had a listen :)

The overall feel of the tune is great! Maybe you could really have the tune take off somewhere though. The melodies work well, but seem toget a bit of a sameish cadance, even though the notes change.. so maybe it'd be cool to have some sort of solo (with a different lead sound) somewhere..

I also like the piano melody.. maybe you can spice that up a little too with a less quantized feel.. maybe a few extra notes here and there, so it starts to feel like a phrase instead of a bunch of sequenced notes.

Well that's basically al i can think of.. lol. Great tune, and interesting sounds! well mixed too (maybe some of the later drums need some compression/eq-ing or something though).

Keep up the great work!

Thankyou for taking the time out to post your comments. I certainly will go back and see about that solo as to be honest it was something I toy'd with but scrapped. At the same time I will see if any different chords and cadences will fit without altering the feel too much.

90% of the sounds came from atmosphere, stuck through a whole bunch of delay's, reverb's and camelspace. The piano was good old wusikstation.

This is pretty nice overall.

I agree that the piano sounds too 'sequenced' and oughta be spiced up a bit.

The phasey pad sounds good for the most part. But during the intro piano bit, the gating effect sounds a bit odd. I'm not sure if you actually used a gate, or just sequenced the chords with a soft attack. Either way, I wonder if it'd sound a bit better with less contour there.

I like how the pad sounds from 1:48 to 1:57 where there seems to be some added 7th harmonising going on or something. Really atmospheric (I wish there were more of it :) )

Anyway, I enjoyed the listen... an all-round nice track.

Nice track. I wouldn't change a thing.

Captured such a cool moment time.
