Hi to all,
here is a new version of the song.
With the help of Michel(mkastrup)I was able to add a vibrato to the flute sound. I made some other little changes as limiting the drums with the
aradez maximizer.

Glad the modulation thing worked out This track reminds me a bit of westerns django style themes in a nice way. This could easily been a theme for a cult italian western. Thx for sharing.

This continues to develop really nicely. However in places, especially near the beginning, the lead sounds slightly 'fuzzy'. I wonder if that track is just going into limiting. If that is the case, reducing the level of all the channels by, say, 3dB would prove the point.
I had a look at the overall waveform and that seems fine.
Good work anyway.

It wasn't me! (well, actually, it probably was) - apparently now an 'elderly' so maybe I forgot!

Thanks to all commnents.
Hi folderol,
you are right that the lead sound(flute) at the beginning sounds overlimited.
The reason for that is that I use a limiter on the flute.
In my new version I work without limiter on the flute sound.
And I corrected the master limiter a little bit.

Sounds it now better for you?

Much clearer. This is hovering on the very brink of my 'keep' folder
... and I really love the way the flute climbs near the end.

I like the melody, particularly the second solo that comes in around 1:45 or so. The guitar part could maybe use some fattening up, and maybe having some of the high end trimmed just a touch. You might also want to try playing the drums live in MIDI rather than using step sequencing, loosen up the feel a touch.
Overall, coming along nicely.

Hi to all,
I believe it is easy for me to record melodies and arrangements but it is a very long way to get a good song mastering.
Thanks again to all, who helped me to get a better mastering.
I my final version I changed the guitar sound a little bit.
To get it fatter and more clear I worked with an eq and a compressor
on the guitar. I think it sounds now better.

Hi jedilaw,
yes, you are right. It would be better when I would play the drums live.
But unfortunately I am only a keyboarder and not a such good drummer.
So I am forced to use the groove agent to do the drummer job.
But I tried to realize your tip to get a fatter guitar sound. Thanks.
