In parts it reminds me of Garbage

I'm familiar to the name, but I can't connect it to the music, I guess the band is too new. When I had interest in this branch of music, I was mainly listening to Sonic Youth and Pixies, which was... oh crap... like 20 years ago.

I'd probably like to hear the vocals a little more forward.

You're right. I've come to the same conclusion, more forward and no double-bubble-tracking. I'll get back to it someday. Thanks.
