Yeah, we'll have to play with the modular next time. Maybe we can smash some mailboxes and twist the f**k out of them. :D

Thanks for listening guys!
ftfy ...
Well I think it goes without saying. That is, after all, how we roll. :hihi:

sounds like you two were having a good time.

and 'fairly polished' as frantz was sayin'...

FrantzM wrote:Nice! That's a pretty polished track for a jam session.
Thanks! Even with a modest recording rig, there isn't much difference between a jam session and a tracking session, these days.
I used Ableton Live's session view to record the drums, synths and guitar as clips so that we could quickly overdub different parts. I didn't have to do much editing, it all pretty much fell in place. Just some automated fades and stuff.

quick everyone, jetpacks to chatsworth!
something has landed.

Didn't they play at The Echo last week with Sandy Duncan's Eye?

It would be! It's wrong that we didn't do this sooner. I'm such a hermit, I'm just glad that Deb helped me come out of my shell for once. :)

Thanks for listening.

Thanks for listening Mike. :)

Bramble jelly (jello?) FTW - wonderful with clotted cream rice pudding.

That was a great track for unwinding with at the end of the day. I think nix808 has this about right - "blissed out".

Good work, you two :)

I love that dreamy guitar sound. Nice jam!

Thanks Ronnie and seismic1!

This is quite a "jam"!
The busy arps are just brilliant. The heavenly guitar keeping the pace. The break down at the 2m mark.
Good! Good! Good!
Really great work, you two!

edit: downloaded and on my 5th listen and can't get enough of it :P

Post

You two were spreading jam like butter. Berry cool.

Deb's guitar parts are the glue that holds this whole thing together. The drum and synth parts would get pretty repetitive without the guitars.

I can't wait 'til Deb and I can get together again. Next time, I'll have more material prepared, for us to jam with. :tu:
