Nice work with the percussion patterns on here. They are quite lively, but manage to sit nicely with the relaxed vibe of the track. I like the wavering detune effects on the synths. I guess that is Phonec. When the vocals came in I was reminded of a modern-day Mike Oldfield.
I might pick up Aethereal in the sale this weekend.
Good work

Cool track.
I thought the drums were too disco and active in the beginning. Later when the track started to build, the drums blended better. So my suggestion would be to use very minimal drums in the beginning and build them up along with the rest of the track.

it's a great track!
i wasn't sure about the drums in the beginning, too. but i think they are perfect, when the other instruments join in. so i kinda agree with frantz's suggestion and kinda don't, because it's always cool, when parts irritate at first and make sense later.

Great track bully. The detuned synth from about 1:40 is great. I like your pads and the chord choices. Everything really melds together beautifully towards the end, sort of like a Peter Gabriel track where everything has a purpose and adds to the overall ambience. Well done!

Thank you all for the kind words and important feedback, really appreciate it!
I have took the advice and shortened the intro and faded the main drums in and added the other percussion later.
Hope this is better?
Thank you for listening...

Based on my recollection of the original, I think the new version works better.

I didn't hear the original but I really dug this. I really like the destined synth chord progression that starts around 1:15. Really enjoyable listen.
