I made a (sort of) video for one of my new tracks and
thought it would be nice to hear what you think.

Thanks. I do it all in the box, and rely on samples and drummachines.mrblitz wrote:well done on the usage of various 'timbres'.
did you play the drums?
mix sounds good. good clarity/punch through these cheap headphones.
In this case I first tried to make some beats with Drumatic4 and an
arpeggiator.
It didn't work for me, so I then tried various samples
until I settled for these, which is taken from - Beats like Bonham
from LoopLoft. It's the Led Zeppelin song called - All my Luv.
I'm glad you like the sound of the mix, since I've tried to improve
my final mix with the SlickHDR from VarietyOfSound and an Exciter
called SLVR from Mildon + my invaluable VintageWarmer2.
Cheers

Thanks. About the drums: Look at the above post. I might add that IQatarsis wrote:very nice track, i like the drums mostly, how you'd achieved them if i may ask ?! also a great vocale sample, nice laid back triphop feel and very lifely, kept my attention all along

also mixed in a hiphop beat with the bottom removed + a few glitch
samples.
The vocals are the Amazing Angie Brown (Taken from a Sample CD from
Samplephonics).
Thanks for following. I'll be sure to follow back
Cheers

I never really clicked with "In Through the Out Door", although I like almost all of Led Zeppelin's other work. That album always felt a little lightweight to me.
I really like the sound of the drums on here, but that kick sounds a lot weightier than I remember, which is no bad thing on this track. Those drums work really well with the added hiphop beat. Great sound choices and mix throughout. It sounds very well integrated, with a tasty groove. Nice video too.
Good work

Good work
the SLVR exciter from Mildon. It can really deliver some serious
bottom end.
Thanks again
