Some good musicianship going on here
When it comes to the mix, I hear it as not bad, but
maybe too many sounds "fighting", for the mid range
frequency area.

Yeah I agree, I tend to crowd the mid too much. It's definitely a bad habit.

When I listened the first time, I wasn't sure whether the snare drum was just a little too punchy, but I'm getting used to the sound now. This track has got a very "full" sound which certainly gives the piece a very chilled, relaxing vibe.
