Got my first four patterns again that I did when I first started with this whole DAW and plugin crap :) It was only Mulab 4 and some Noizemaker if I remember correctly (I lost all old project files because of a hard disc failure). Anyway, my mom still had those audio files I had sent her back then (she is a very nice person, but sucks as a critic because she never says anything negative about anything I do ) :)

They sound a bit crude in hindsight, even wrong notes in there if I am not mistaken (especially in the forth pattern), and the timing sucks :hihi:

Which of the four, if any, should I try to recreate and make an entire song out of? I have never recreated anything, will be tough as I somehow can't seem to associate keys on the keyboard with notes heard :? So a lot of trial and error I suppose. But I am better at sound design now and I have lots of patches to use...

After a long time of zilch productivity, I have been programming new sounds for days now (the new version of Mixcraft kind of motivates me) that are to emulate classic synth sounds as well as real instruments, but not desperately so, i.e. one can probably tell it is not a real electric bass or Rhodes, and that's OK :) But I hope they make people think of and "feel" those instruments.
The pattern is simple and very short, but I guess there might be potential in it :)
