Greetings,

I haven't posted anything here for a while. So, something new.

Liminal music, needs a fairly quiet listening space (but not headphones).

Comments welcome, as always.

Wow this is good stuff, however I ended up sharing your Arcis track because it's incredible! Is it generative?

Saw the repost on SC, pleased you enjoy the pieces.

Both Arcis and Zera are mixes of files created initially with AVSynthesis, an environment for generating Csound-based audio and OpenGL-based visual displays. These days I use it mainly for its audio capabilities. It has excellent composition features and a set of instruments and processors that will keep me busy for a lifetime or two.

The arrangement, editing, and mix of the files normally takes place in Ardour3. Typically it's a lot of editing. :)

Old and outdated articles about AVSynthesis:

Cool. The first part was like insects (or mice, or mouse-insect hybrids) destroying a pipe organ, and then things settled into something calmer. The afterlife of the organ, maybe. Anyway, I enjoyed it. Thanks.
