A collaboration effort.

https://soundcloud.com/layzerkvr/ramire ... o-fleeting

This is a collaboration between Landslide Victory
and myself.

Landslide Victory provided the bass and arp stem
files and I added a synth guitar and drums and
other small embellishments.

enjoy!

That was quick! The mix is 100% better. You can now hear everything in crystal clear LayzerSound®.

Hopefully this will give redmaggot some idea of what is possible. Great job. :tu:

yep, LayzerSound® that secret blend of 11 audio apps and plugins much like KFC's 11 secret herbs and spices.

it only took a few hours to fry this one up. the bassline arp and twirling arp tracks made it quite easy to
build upon. i was going for that echo and the bunnymen "killing moon" guitar type sound with it.
thanks for commenting :D

Excellent mate. Thanks for your time and effort.

Far, far better than the muddy mess that I posted. Saying that doesn't do it justice. No comparison.

Heard it at work a few hours ago and have been waiting to get back home so I could express my gratitude.
How did you find working with the bits I provided. I hope you enjoyed it.

Here's hoping we could do another some time.

Yes. Much cleaner, but still retaining the overall idea. Good job guys.
It wasn't me! (well, actually, it probably was) - apparently now an 'elderly' so maybe I forgot!

Very nice. Slightly sounds like Kraftwerk style at times. Enjoyable listen. Mix was balanced.

its different. i'm sure there are those that would prefer your version with its softer, warm, fuzzier sound.
your wav file bits imported with no problems into EXT2. i really like what they bring to the song.
do you keep project files of all your works? yes, another one would be fun! :D

Yeah, got shed loads of projects.

From stuff that ended up on Soundcloud to dozens that haven't been developed much.

Reaper saves multiple midi tracks into one file. I take it that's common and is ok?

I like the groove and everything sounds pretty nice. :tu:

Much greater clarity and punch in the mix, and the percussion had more "whump".

Good work :)
