Please let me know your opinion of my composition. I spent quite a lot of time making this, so any feedback (ie. constructive criticism) is appreciated.

I felt that the orchestral sections were nicely executed, and appropriate for the genre that you're going for here. But my view is that that the piano detracts from the quality of this track, especially in the first twenty seconds or so and in other sections in which it is playing solo passages. I suspect that simply playing it more softly would improve it quite a bit, but I also wonder if an alternate choice of instrument would also be helpful.

I have updated my track and improved it a lot (so I think). It would be nice with a little more feedback on my update.

I feel that the opening is much stronger now that you've removed the piano completely from the first part and reduced its influence later on. I still think you might consider replacing it completely with other instruments, though. Beyond that, you might consider introducing a bit more variation into the chord sequence and melodic construction, as it is a bit repetitive (I know that this is not totally unusual for the genre, but still). Or you could try adding some low, rhythmic synth sounds to give the track a bit more momentum. Best of luck with it in any case!

song is great but mixing and mastering could be much better I think.

I have heard a lot about this "mixing" and "mastering". But frankly speaking, I don't know what it is or how to improve it.ATS wrote:mediumaevum wrote:This is my final version. I hope you all like it.

I did use an Equalizer and other sound editing techniques, but could you be more specific?
