I feel like this track is a bit too dry for my tastes after finishing the mix. Be interested to know what you think. A bit of influence by the awesome 'Ott' on this track. Enjoy! Any critisism would be appreciated . Thanks!

DUb? No, but I like the relaxed smooth jazz feeling, nice Rhodes playing Just the bass could be more present for my taste and the endless repeating forwarded snare gets boring after a while, try some variations

I like this one! You can't go wrong with a Fender Rhodes! Nice analog synth sweeps and 80's electric pianos... I'm just thinking it might be even better with some vocals, but that's just me...

I'd agree - needs some vox methinks !
top production with both pianos going on there.
nice, with the swelling pad in there too.
I was just starting to wish for a change in dynamics when the tweaking arp comes in, which is a nice touch although perhaps you could make this more busy/noisy/dramatic for a larger distinction between sections, making the chill so much more lush when you settle back into it for the final passage and outro?
just a thought...whaddoiknow?!
smooth stuff mate

Too dry... hmmmm, I would say more clean sounding.
I think if you'd want to go for more richness then the pads and strings is where to start. They are okay, but miss sparkle which might take care of the dry feeling.....
All in all a nice relaxed groove and indeed that rhodes sounds delicious. Great filtered lead in the second half

Some great feedback here! Thankyou All for listening and taking time out to make some good points..
sic: Agreed, the beat is quite repetetive, I guess i'm just getting used to programming real acoustic drums. In future I'll probably start adding more change in my drum layers.
Zymac: Yes, I would have loved to add vocals to this track. I might still consider that!
Unicon: Great idea with the contrasting, it would have worked well. I'll have to keep that sort of thing in mind more next time i'm writing...
Mystahr: Glad you liked that synth . You're right the shimmer is definitely missing! I always have trouble filling up the very high end of the spectrum.. I'll work on that.
Thanks again all!

Been meaning to listen to this for a couple of days - just cos of the description.
erm, not dub though, even though dub comes in many shapes and forms.
Lounge and Jazz, yes.
Really nice track, well produced.
I can see where you might put a dub category on it, when the mood changes at 4.52, but I still think it's more jazzy than dubby - even with those stabby dubby things on the 303-sounding synth.
Not to say I don't like it though - I'm on my 4th listen here.
Very very well put together.
A nice journey and a keeper.

Nice little tune. Great rhodes sound, although you dirty it up a bit, if you're worried about the dry/clean thing. The sparkly bells works really well, and could have come in earlier I thought.
I also second the motion for some vocals
