The Ambient Online Compilation: Volume 7 has just been released. Here is my contribution to the album, which consists of 136 tracks, and is the biggest compilation yet from the members of AO. Selling for only $10, I believe this to be excellent value for money.

This track was written as a futile response to scam-artists and incompetents in positions of power.

Great mysterious spacy sci-fi journey. Good to know, that when they start selling weekend trips to the moon, we already have the soundtrack.

Cheers :tu:

Reminiscent of "classic" Tangerine Dream, to my ears (always a good thing, in my book :D) . Nice to hear some key changes!
Good job.

Thanks for listening, Jan. Glad it worked for you :D

I'm hoping that your re-appearance here in the Cafe heralds the arrival of a new Tigress and the U-Fraidees release :)

Top track Tim! Beautiful synths and a lovely beat/rhythm...

Read on your soundcloud that you were feeling disillusioned at the time of doing this. Maybe you could make it very confrontational by using finger nails on a blackboard...

Well done!

nice soothing thereminish lead on this one, The lp filtered arp kept a nice rhythm and the level was low enough to allow the pads to peek over it. the start/stop structure was interesting. almost teasing.

ever hear the theme from the 70's show "NBC Mystery Movie"? the lead kind of had that vibe for me!
always liked that sound.

Thanks very much for listening, and for the great comments, sbj. Glad you enjoyed it 8)

When you purchase your tickets, please ensure that you obtain them from an authorised seller, or the soundtrack could quickly lose its appeal

Very good sounds in this sparse piece. I especially love that choral pad. Excellent use of reverb.

Pleasantly drifting into a slightly mysterious fog on my fourth listen. The Netfix show "Stranger Things" is quite popular now and this would fit right in on the soundtrack.

I wish the throbbing bass was mixed a touch louder and the whistle lead a touch lower. Don't ask me what "a touch" is cause I don't know. :nutter:

I was hoping drums and a mid-range arp would appear at some point and kick things up a notch but I guess that would not be "ambiently correct." Mayhaps in part two?

Great job. 8)

Very enjoyable track! I think you got your theremin-type lead to sit just exactly in the right place in the mix - beautifully done!

Any comment that mentions TD will get my attention  One week after I finished this, I found myself listening to one of the tracks from Exit in the car. I hadn't heard that album for a couple of years. For the last two weeks, I can't stop playing it. It's such an under-rated album.

Thanks very much for taking the time to listen and comment. Glad you liked it :)
