Thanks Sacha - the snare is a bit repetitive methinks.
I kind of forgot it in the excitement...

Nah, it's only about the sound that I don't like too much. The rest of the percussive stuff, including the programming, is excellent.

oh well if its just the sound... I dont mind.. :D
I've never been good at constructing a likely sounding drum kit. I always seem to choose a mix of electronic and acoustic hits and that.
Still, I can claim I am being experimental.

more lovely stuff from 3 years ago, excellent production, and nice innovative use of the flute to put it in the trip hop context. also, your description fits the mood of the track, making for an even enjoyable experience.

i'm browsing the music cafe starting from the oldest date (not counting the archive), listening to whatever is still available for download, and bumping with a review where i have something to say (except if what i have to say is "not my cup of tea" :p).

i could throw some reviews (and/or a list of how i would have voted if i had been around) on old kvr contest songs aswell if anyone's interested, but those will be more along the lines of "loved this tune, loved that tune, and that one is great too!" :P
