Only from the sample collection I created using my own unique presets (well some are actually just variations I created from tutorials.) But other than that all the drops are pretty much my own sound design, with varied presets for the lead, and of course i just used drum samples

yeah I guess my ears can tolerate a real beating as far as distortion and clipping goes, or maybe its my headphones just tolerating it, but you're right compression and limitting is something i'm still just trying to wrap my head around, and loudness i guess too.

Looking at your Soundcloud page I see youre actually not a n00b, so I retract my 'good' comment

Well i guess that just depends on what you consider to be N00b material.. The way i figure it is that Ive still got a long way to go before i can even start considering myself to be an expert or intermediate level music producer, so for me n00b suits to me just fine.
