Hi everyone,
I'm happy to announce my first song to the public. It's an old C64 tune remix. A software only version of a song written by Ronny Pasch & Francois Prijt in 1992: Triplex.
I used rgc:Audio's Pentagon I and z3ta+, as well as the Waldorf Attack and D-Pole for it. The was mainly created to check those plugins out, for I just bought them recently.
Here's the link, have fun:

Being paranoid doesn't necessarily mean they aren't after you.

Hi Jan,
I like this alot. Never having heard the original I had to fire up SidPlay and give it a listen after hearing your track!
Good work! Looking forward to hearing some more.
Thanks for sharing.
Take Care,
Dave

Best way to try out new synths is a new tune
And this quatro sounds tops and is tops. Sounds may be a bit thinnish, but I think that is more a purposed choice. I have no clue about the original, but I will look forward to Tim entering this thread and giving his thoughts knowing him to be a C64 music lover
Now about those final two seconds; what happened there, as I felt that to be some great sequence to build further upon.

Thanks for the comments.
The thinnish sound is partly on purpose (yes, I do love screaming resonant filters on high frequencies ), but I might also have a monitoring issue here.
I'm monitoring on headphones and good PC speakers with a sub. Far from a good monitoring system, which is a very high priority on my investment list...
Thanks for the hint, I'll have to take it into account in future mixes.
The last two seconds of the mix are a sample actually But I'll dig into it and try to get a similar sequence and sound on one of the synths and play around with it
We'll see, maybe I'll include it in the next Triplex remix, which I'm already planning
Thanks again for the comments
