I actually find it sounds more like the Dead Kennedys than house tbh. Care to share the lyrics? They're a bit buried in the mix, so I'm only catching snippets. I'm assuming it's intentional though, because it fits the song IMO.

over the top weird, but most disturbing was how over compressed and dynamically flat it was.
