I was sucked in by the nice intro, but unfortunately this strong track is let down by the mix that is way off- the vocals are much too loud compared to the rest. It sounds like singing accapella alone with headphones, and somewhere in the distance is another track quietly playing. Well, not quite, but you get the point.
Another problem I had with the vocals is the delivery- at times it sounds like the vocalist isn't that serious about the lyrics he's singing, but sort of half smiling at them. Could be intentional, but for me it somehow clashed with the text.
