Had a short play with Heavyocity NOVO Rhythmic Textures.
I just used one of the articulations here and didn´t touched the designer yet to go more wild etc.
I used here just the sul pont waves articulation and layered a violin, viola and cello preset and played it live. No automation or fancy stuff. Added a bit of Vocalise 2, Replika XT and B2.

It sounds quite lush and emotive. The instrument mix sounds good with the vocal effect. I can imagine this is meant to be expanded upon as it sounds like an excerpt of something larger.
