Hey, this is a new account but I've been lurking for a while. I decided to release a new song today, I'd appreciate any support or feedback you can provide!

I'm not sure where to begin. Take this with a very small grain of salt because I'm no expert.

I find the overall sound to be harsh. Maybe that's intentional. If it's a genre thing than fine. But I think toning it down just a little would help. Don't know. Composition wise, seems pretty much par for the course. Nothing that stands out but nothing that sounds out of place. In other words, I've heard stuff like this before and it seem to fit in. As someone who uses Vocaloid, I don't mind the vocoder vocals. I didn't understand a lot of the words but that's to be expected when the vocals are so heavily processed.

All in all, it was okay. My biggest complaint was that sections actually hurt my ears. The piano in particular was very harsh and some of the high pitched sounds. I don't know what kind of EQing and limiting you did but maybe apply some more to take off some of the rough edges, again, unless that's what you're going for. If so, leave it as it is.

The mix itself does seem a bit uneven. Some parts are way louder than others. Again, if on purpose, ignore these comments.

Maybe somebody who is more into the genre (I'm not a big fan) can give more constructive feedback. I can only go by what I know (which isn't much) and what I hear.

The harsh sounds were intended. I know how to produce and mix clean, though i consider myself more of a songwriter/producer than an audio engineer. Regardless, I appreciate your well thought out response.
