ELO's cover of Chuck Berry's "Roll Over Beethoven" was on their album ELO 2. The cover has a picture of a light bulb floating in space. They had 3 albums with some kind of spacecraft on the cover; Out Of The Blue, Zoom and Alone In The Universe. OOTB was probably their biggest hit and the peak of their career with hits Turn To Stone, Sweet Talkin Woman, Mr Blue Sky and Wild West Hero.Mister Natural wrote:izzat the Berry song that's on the Voyager spacecraft ? Those two interpretations seem exactly what a classical cover iskovacs wrote:So what exactly is a classical cover? Pet Shop Boys on pan flute, or Beethoven on FM8?

Classical Covers it is! Feel free to interpret the theme broadly, or just stay "switched on". Submissions thread (and results from August) will be posted soon.

Fun theme. Maybe this is the theme you do a classical cover of "Dark Funeral".

Great theme ! I always wanted to cover 4'33" from John Cage.
