On forums, people generally don't like clicking on links that take them 'offsite'...various reasons for this...top of the list is security...I've been hit by a false link twice now this year alone...said 'Spotify' but was actually Spam!

That's why I won't be listening...sorry!

Doesn't have to be SC, but use something that you can embed here!

Glad I trusted you...

My eldest son is a clarinetist!

My brother is a clarinetist!

My dad archives articles on the use of the clarinet in jazz!

Not very often I hear not just one but two lines of cl at the start of a piece! :0)

Clarinet tone has shades of Phil Nimmons about it.

Have to disagree with Layzer on this one...didn't find it weird at all...some good lead lines, interesting harmonies and electronics created a soothing but slightly dark atmosphere.

The only thing I wanted to change was, maybe, the very repetitive drums...more variation maybe? Not sure?

Gunnar Owen Hirthe?

Just forwarded it to my dad and he recognized the name! He's always looking / listening for new players of all genres.

Ah!

Mark,

thank you very much for listening and engaging the music.

And for your observations... :)

i have to look for Phil Nimmons. Dont know him :)

I agree and know it clearly: I love simple melodies with a melancholic touch.

I find deepness there and true personal emotions.

I am a saxophonist and i play clarinet and after quite a pause from electronic music i am back and
plan on workin on one song at a time and then release it.

happily until the rest of my life :)

thanks again for your impressions and toughts

I loved this piece of music. Then again with a name like JAZZY CLARINET MAN I would.

Some beautiful, controlled playing.
Jazz Clarinet Rocks - well sort of Swings anyway!

thank you very much

Interesting piece mixing electronica soundscape with jazz, not for me but well done in putting the two styles together.
