It wasn't me! (well, actually, it probably was) - apparently now an 'elderly' so maybe I forgot!

Parallel Worlds 'Shade' (DiN32) cd album new Great review from 'Heathen Harvest' Web Magazine:
http://www.heathenharvest.com/article.p ... 1212559641
a small extract:
"This is the kind of music -or art, for the matter-, that really shakes you inside, transforming your intimate fibres and relocating the plane of your unconscious, leaving you speechless and emotionally touched. So aside from being an excellent demonstration of IDM and modern electronica, or aside to be an exemplar on how to re-rubberize the qualities of "old" or "outdated" sonorities from synths and analogue equipment and to relocate the genre as something far new starting from old principles, Parallel world's "Shade" constitutes a great achievement again in what respects to aural influence over the mood, thoughts and acts from the listener. A work that just not opens sonic universes of ignote mystery and deep questions beneath its audience, but also raises high remarks about the technical ability from its author, showing him as some sort of new guru in the scene of dark ambient IDM. Highly recommended!"

Hey all,
I'm releasing my next EP, "SynthFunkatero", on Intellegenix, on September 15th, 2009. Here's an extract from the blurb:
"The EP offers 6 tracks of eighties-inspired synthfunk with soulful vocals, big basses and a breakbeat, urgent edge, placing this release somewhere between funky synthpop, freestyle and Nu Disco.
Fans of Chromeo, Calvin Harris, La Roux, Michael Jackson and Prince should prick up their ears.
Extracts available on Vim Cortez's Myspace."
The EP will be available on most major estores (Itunes, Beatport, etc)
Vinyl release of the tracks "Givin'it Up" and "Monica Darling" to be announced.
Hope you all like it. Many thanks to all who kindly gave me great advice for the mixing and other things, with special thanks to Zeoy and Eduardo B.

I may be being an idiot, but when I click on the Din.org link, I cannot find DiN32 in the catalogue, it stops at 31. That website is quite poor really - it's not immediately obvious who is responsible for what album, almost like the focus is on the label rather than the artist...probably why you had to post the catalogue number of your album (which I still can't find).Parallel Worlds wrote:another great Parallel Worlds 'Shade' (DiN32) cd album review from the German Medienkonverter.de webmag:

Well, on the catalogue page (where you'd expect to see all of the, er, catalogue) it only goes up to 31.CypherOne wrote:I may be being an idiot, but when I click on the Din.org link, I cannot find DiN32 in the catalogue, it stops at 31.
I used to order a lot of stuff from the DiN label, but haven't been there for years.

I get the feeling you think I'm being difficult, but in all honesty, I would never buy a CD these days without hearing some previews - you'd be better off promoting the other sites really. Like it or not, digital and download is where it's at...Parallel Worlds wrote:previews:CypherOne wrote:oh okay, so no previews then? and no download option either...

Anyway, thanks for the links, I'm geniunely interested in hearing your stuff - there's just no way I'd buy a CD on the basis of someone elses's (read critic) opinion...
