Hi all,
This is the (almost) finishing of a song in the triphop project Thalamus, which came a long long way.
It uses many many instruments, mostly Creamware stuff.
I'm still working on the finishing part before the last chorus, and the outro in general.
I hope you like it, and feel free to comment.
P.S. I know about the random clicks...sorry!
there is also an old version here to compare :

you've improved depth and suspension in the mix quite a bit. very good production. seing the first mix of this track dated in january 2002 and loads of mixes, I can't help but think..... how many hours went into this track? dedication/perfectionist/stubborness..? or does the singer live 1000km away?
but a great way to hone your skills in any case! great work.

im very glad you had a good time listen to the song, and yeah, indeed many hours went into this. Many years actually, but also many dead periods. But as you say, I must declair my self perfectionist, sometimes not for the good.
I quess, most of the time, it's all about finding the right mood, sounds, and try to make everything fit. Sometimes its there, sometimes it's not. Once you have it, it doesn't take so long to make, but to get there may take ages. A little like love maybe

Holy crap. This is probably the best-sounding track I've heard here. It sounds huge and warm.
Angelic vocals and plenty of ear candy in the mix. Awesome tones throughout.
I've spent a long, long time on each of my own new songs. Listening to your track reminds me that a powerful song is worth 1000 shitty songs. Your time reaped huge rewards.
