Hey.
A couple of months ago [in the Spring contest] I posted a track that I called Springtime Serenade. As the days went by I realised that it was just about the only track of mine that I really enjoyed listening to. The problem was [is, really] this: I want to play it to more people but I'm a bit embarrased by my croaking half-vocals that may sound a bit old-record-novelty but don't really cut it.
So, I rendered the track without vocals and I'm wondering if anyone who can really sing [Dave [McKenic] perhaps, or Remco or Donk or someone???] will sing over it so that I can play it to some friends of mine without turning red in the face?? And as it is my baby, it deserves the best treatment available
You will find the original track with my 'singing' here:
http://www.pualah.com/05_04-TristezaOra ... renade.mp3
and the track without the vocal overdub here:
http://www.pualah.com/SpringtimeSerenadenovocals.mp3
[god bless pao ]
Use my vocals as a guide but take some liberties if you want - as long as it sounds like it's the same track [and in tune, which mine isn't ] I won't mind.
The lyrics:
Under the moon in springtime
I met you, you were so beautiful
And then I missed you
I searched for you
But you where nowhere to be found
But you were nowhere, nowhere to be found
Thanks guys.

The original got my vote in the comp so you know I love it!!!
Thing is - if my pasport arrives in time Im off to France on the 18th for 2 weeks
I'd love to do it if you can wait but perhaps one of the other chaps could help out???
BTW - I still have demostarfish.mp3 on my HD... interested in doing something with it??? Its too good to let drift away...

Dave! I remember you gave me a no1 vote for it so I thought you might be interested. I can wait forever for your vocals man Of course if anyone can sing it before you do, he/she's welcome, but I really want to hear you singing this too.mckenic wrote:Course Im interested Tristeza!!!

The Starfish thing... I'd love to continue working on it - I don't want to leave it half-finished since I like it a lot. Basically, I have to repeat the first part of the song [verse/bridge/chorus] with different lyrics and send you the mp3 which won't be hard at all So wait for it. When you return from France you'll have it
Enjoy your trip to France Sounds fantastic. You may want to check this thread out too before you go:
