So i've been listening to this, and enjoying it tremendously. It's very cool how unique the sound is, and in particular I like the build up for the chorus; adds nice energy to the track. Some very trippy sounds there.
Did you use your delay plug for the springy/metallic sound I'm hearing?

Xavier, i'll be honest: i think the instrumentation, although interesting, doesn't perfectly work. it is like there were a lot of different parts that play for themselves, not finding a way to sound together.

i believe that the main culprit is the guitar, during the verse. it sounds off tempo and a little clumsy.

on the other hand, the "atmosphere" and the main melody and harmony are very cool, i love that style.

i'm not sure it qualifies as electro, tho.

I used my delay on the voice and on the hithat.

The springy/metalic sound ? (on the right ?)... it's a simple sound of "SubDuer" through Pan-Oh!-Rama.
I used only free vst instrument except microtonic for the drums. The others are : Triangle II (*2) , MinimogueVA, Mr ray73 and SubDuer.

I understand what you mean.
The guitare is often out of sync, i definitely have to re do it. More over, at 2 or 3 moment i didn't know what to play and that can be heard...
I also think some of the synth sounds are sometimes too loud which makes them sound a little out of the mix...
I'll fix all that.... Thanks....

If you want to listen to good mysic of this style listen to the CD of "Sebastien Schuller" - Happyness.
I bought it last week and it made me want to do a song in this style.

this is a real gem! as wopelka says there's something 'wobbly' going on in the instruments, but i quite like that because it makes it somehow more immediate, and an intriguing listen

, i hope it won't lose that when you redo it. there's some great psychedelic synths sounds. it makes me think of slapp happy's first album which featured faust as backing musicians.

i'll have to investigate the sebastian schuller cd.

Ixox, I think your voice is best on slower tracks like this. Ususally you cram a lot more syllables per beat, but here it's more relaxed and inviting. Nice work.

I expected to have feedbacks saying the song goes too high for my voice...
It seems to work globaly but i know it is a little out of tune in the higher notes (in the chorus).
