Valhallas extremely high quality calls for a really GOOD harmonizer/pitch shifter type of plugin IMO...

Übermod already covers the delay section good enough IMO.tehlord wrote:How about a blatant rip off of Echoboy that isn't $179

That's what I voted for. An Eventide style/quality intelligent harmonizer with pitch tracking, scale lock, and whammy style pitch bends would be amazing. Maybe throw a delay and some filters in there too (maybe even provide the users with the ability to pick where to patch what section into like pitch, then delay, then filters or delay, then pitch, then filters). I'm thinking something like Discord 3 only bigger and way more advanced (with better pitch shifting algos as well). This way, Sean could eventually bundle all his stuff up into a modular environment and make a really crazy plugin.miro pajic wrote:Valhallas extremely high quality calls for a really GOOD harmonizer/pitch shifter type of plugin IMO...

Oh, please. I hope this was a joke...Nielzie wrote:ValhallaEQ ?

No, why? Show me super high quality EQ for only $50.miro pajic wrote:Oh, please. I hope this was a joke...Nielzie wrote:ValhallaEQ ?
I wouldn't mind an additional section with some crazy filter modulation options too though
Personally I don't use harmonizers pitch shifters very often.. EQ's, chorus, delay's and filters on the other hand..
And reverbs of course but those are very well covered now

Like there isn't already enough EQ's on the market

You could say that about any effect type (reverbs anyone?) and synths toomiro pajic wrote:Like there isn't already enough EQ's on the market
Apparently there is a market for it. One of Valhalla quality and in Valhalla price range would be hard to beat imho.

What's the price point got to do with the type of product? Sean's specialisation, over many years, is clearly the delay/reverb side of things. The less generic an EQ, the more specialist knowledge you'll want. Its not all one-for-one interchangeable at that level. Might as well ask a zoologist to look for the Higgs-Boson because he's cheaper to hire than building the LHC.Nielzie wrote:No, why? Pffff...like the EQ market isn't TOTALLY over-saturated! What's not there already? What could be improved? For christs sake, there's SO MANY great EQ's out there but, besides the Eventide stuff, absolutely NO (zero....nada!) great sounding harmoizers or similar plugins! Have you heard a chorus even CLOSE to what Übermod does in any plugin? Impossible! That's where Sean is an absolute expert in. If you find no use in such plugins the you're missing something essential being used for mixing since decades.
Sorry to vent but your "suggestion" is absolutely ridiculous!

Ridiculous? What the hell is the option "Dynamics Processors (compressor, limiter" doing in this poll then I saw that options and though about an EQ, silly me
I looked at the poll and thought, hey that's something different then the Reverbs, Delays, chorus, flanger, etc stuff that Valhalla has already done.
