Most of my efforts in the last several weeks has been on AAX/Windows ports of the existing plugins. I've also released a cartridge for the Tiptop Z-DSP Eurorack module. The Halls of Valhalla is my first excursion into the hardware world:

I've got other plugins in the works, but I'm going to keep quiet about these until they are released. I didn't announce ValhallaVintageVerb until the day it was released, and I found that was far less stressful on me than pre-announcing what I am working on, then dealing with the "is it ready yet" inquiries. I can say that it will be several months before new plugins come out.

Wow that's amazing, love the lush sounds on the Z-DSP,are those replicas of valhallaroom and/or Vintageverb,or enterily new algorithms?Do you find it harder to program for the hardware?.Love the new algo names (Nilfheim,Asgard,Ginnungagap)
I agree on the pre-announcing,it's better to keep it quiet :)

keep up the good work,it's always amazing to see anything you release :)

The Halls of Valhalla algorithms are original, and specific to the Z-DSP card. A few of the algorithms (Niflheim/Asgard/Ginnungagap) are somewhat similar to algorithms in ValhallaShimmer, but with very different delay lengths and modulation schemes. In general, the modulation that I have used in my plugins wasn't possible on the Z-DSP, so I had to figure out how to use the built-in LFOs of the Z-DSP to create modulation. The results are different than the plugins. I wouldn't say better or worse, but definitely different.

Will there be betas this time around ?...
Professional technicians are assessed by the abilities they possess.
Amateur technicians are assessed by the tools they possess - and the amount of those tools, with an obvious preference to the latest hyped ones.
