Specifically I deal with software to integrate the storage robots with pharmacy IT systems, this site is kind of average size for a hospital, the big one of this year was several times larger.

Interesting work you have! How long have you been involved in that project?

My friend also works with robotics and he is involved in this project: http://www.giraff.org.

I assume this project isnt coded in Delphi, does this mean your becoming more experienced with C++? Will Vaz get recoded at some stage?

Post

I think I just hit 6 years in the job.

The older projects are Delphi, but I switched to C# over 3 years ago. A big part of that was to get out of the ghetto. FWIW any future major release of VAZ would be C++ as things stand, maybe a cleaner systems language will make it through at some point...

More importantly, will we see a robotized hardware VAZ? ie: we buy a small box, then press a button, and Transformers-style it opens up and unfolds to make a huge modular synth.

Are plans afoot then?

Heh, I have had a professional conversation about where to keep the temazepam and ketamine...

tell them to stash it in their sock, so if they get patted down it should escape detection.
