You guys might like to try out these GUIs for the MIDI plugins pack:

Image

Visit this page http://asseca.com/wiki/MGUI/MdaPizmidi
and download the mp-asData.7z and mp-mGUI.7z files.

The Installation instructions are available on a link and are in the mp-asData file.

The pack includes GUIs for the mda-VSTs too. My thanks go to asseca, insertpizhere and plastique. :)

The Asseca server seems down - any other location available?

We are forever greatful to Piz for his contribution. I use these midi plugins in every project - incredibly useful.

Why aren't there versions made to be accepted by Cubase.

There is so far only http://www.midiplugin.de that has Cubase versions, and those are not much worth paying for compared to Piz stuff. I bought in 2010 and there isn't anything new since what I discovered - claiming to be lifetime license for all his stuff.

I would certainly pay $100 without a doubt for a Cubase version of Piz stuff.

I use it with Cubase 9.5 wo problems every time. The trick is to use the piz as instrument which needs midi input from hardware or another software / hardware instrument. Then route the output of the PIZ to your instrument in cubase which needs the processed midi of the piz. If you added a PIZ as instrument you get an additional MIDI input wich has the same name as the piz in the input selection.

For example:
Midi hardware controller -> PIZ -> Retrologue
Or
Midi hardware controller -> PIZ -> Kirnu -> AnotherPIZ -> Halion Sonic
