how to pronounce piz??

hi. im workin on a video showing my live wx5/reaper/midichords etc setup and im wondering how to properly pronounce "piz" as in insert piz here.
is it pits? petes? pizz?
i figure ill be saying it a lot and i should try to get it right.

I assume they're named after the 'piz' patch (can't remember which synth contained it) that dominated commercial dance music in the late 90s. The main riff from Insomnia by Faithless is the most famous use of it that I can recall. Piz was short for pizzicato, so I pronounce it Pizz.
I think the sound was still pretty popular when Mr Alias first appeared, so I took it as a jibe at people who are happy to sound like everyone else. Made all the funnier by how very nasty and unconventional Mr. Alias is. Insert Wobble Here would be the contemporary version, I guess.
edit: Actually, if it's short for pizzicato it WOULD be pronounced 'pitz', not 'pizz'. I always pronounced it pizz. Genuinely never noticed that in 10 years.

It's supposed to rhyme with "fizz" and not as in "pizzicato." Oh well!
