All,

Just trying to work through this. I'm attempting to follow Live's MIDI rules with assigns starting at C3 onwards for Low / Root / High starting with the lowest left pad. However, by the time I finish assigning the first 8 triggers, the top 8 triggers don't take assigns, and just cue the lower 8 assigns.

Has anyone had luck using DrumSpillage as a replacement for Drum Rack?

Cheers,

Hi, did you get any further with this?

I didn't replace the drumrack with DS, but rather integrated the two. You can do this by dropping DS on one of the pads, and use Live's External instrument on the other pads, and use that to route midi and audio. This way, a pad in drumrack corresponds with a pad in DS.

Don't know if that would solve your problem though as i don't use external controllers.
