Yeah, since SpecOps has come out I've realised that (while a excellent plug I'm delighted to own) it doesn't replace Spectrumworx completely. It absolutely slays Spectrumworx in the areas it covers, but it's missing the granular level of control that Spectrumworx has - most notably being able to process magnitudes and phases seperately and sidechain functionality. It very much makes spectral processing accessible and fast while retaining excellent sound quality no matter what you do, rather than the more advanced angle Spectrumworx was coming from in which more could be done but preserving quality was your responsibility.

Hopefully we'll hear something about getting permission to share the installers as I've only got the 32 bit one on my machine. I can't even remember what type of copy protection it used and whether I'd even be able to activate it again, so perhaps an academic discussion anyway.

Seriously though, check out SpecOps. It's superb.

Hi people,
Sorry for not being able to post this earlier. Takes time to recover after a business failure, financialy and in every other way.

Here are the installers in case you lost them:

Win 32:
http://wwwold.littleendian.com/release/ ... -Setup.msi
Win 64:
http://wwwold.littleendian.com/release/ ... -Setup.msi
OSX 32/64:
http://wwwold.littleendian.com/release/ ... -Setup.dmg

Have in mind that the installers are very outdated and probably very unstable; use at your own responsibility.

Happy New 2018

Good to hear from you Danijel. Have you not tried to sell the code? I would think there could be a number of interested buyers, no?

Yeah absolutely - I would definitely re-buy/upgrade to a 'Plugin Alliance' SpectrumWorx. As cron says SpecOps is close to doing what this did but doesn't seem quite as powerful. The main reason I'd love a new build is constant GUI shenaniganes like:

Man that would be awesome! And I would update for sure without hesitation.

I also own SpecOps, it's a great spectral plugin but not as creative and crazy as SpectrumWorx. At least it sill works quite well in Live and I still can use if on a regular basis without too many problems . It's 2018 and it is still an incredible plugin, sooooo much ahead of its time. It's really a shame to have to see it slowly dissolve in the near future...

Thank you Danijel. I really appreciate the gesture. For what it's worth, Spectrumworx was/is one of my favourite plug-ins, and I don't think any other plug has persisted in my library, regularly used, for anywhere near as long. Well over a decade if we include the Delaydots era. Version 2 from Little Endian brought things to the next level, of course.

Best of luck in whatever is next for you.

Strange, I didn't even know SpectrumWorx was 64bit! I thought it was still 32bit only. Great news.

Thanks for the backup installers!

If you sell the code, you should contact the guys at Artificial Audio. They created a spectral plugin (As you are probably aware) so they have experience working with this stuff.

Best Regards,
Developers please focus only on 64bit development. Let 32-bit finally die and become a thing of the past.

Is there any way to recover the license files? I'm trying to install this but I can't locate my .SWLic file, I've found my original receipt from 2010 though if that helps?

Scratch that - booted up a computer from ten years ago and found it hidden away in a forgotten folder!!
I'd forgotten how much fun spectrumworx was!! It'll be getting used again!! Thank you Daniel!!
